Ciara has 18 years teaching experience in dance schools around the country, choreographing for shows and musicals in schools and communities, judging dance and talent competitions, and entering students for RAD and ISTD exams. She is principal and owner of CMB Academy of Dance in Gort and Portumna, established in 2014. Ciara is senior teaching staff at Corrib Dance Academy since 2010. She has been working in the field of Arts Admin for the past 11 years.
Ciara trained at Howard Performing Arts and Teacher Training College in Hertfordshire where she gained invaluable experience under the tuition of many West End and Broadway performers, professional ballet dancers and ISTD examiners studying ballet, modern, jazz, tap, hip hop, contemporary and musical theatre.
She then attended Inchicore College, Dublin, where she completed her ISTD qualifications and attained Advanced 2 Modern and Advanced 1 Tap exams. While teaching full time, Ciara completed the Royal Academy of Dance Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies (CBTS) to become a registered teacher with the RAD.
